POTHOLE DRAWINGS

In this series of drawings of cracks and potholes, Beck carefully renders potholes in graphite. The resulting drawings seem to be celestial and terrestrial at the same time. Rendered on folded paper, the folds disrupt the images, just as the cracks and potholes in the road disrupt the landscape.
